Product Description:
RF Basic set is a new near-field probe set launched by Langer in May 2025, authorized to be sold and quoted for service by EUTTEST Shenzhen. It can be used by PCB developers to test electromagnetic and magnetic fields in the frequency range of 30 MHz - 3 GHz. This basic near-field probe set includes six passive near-field probes for development-related electric and magnetic field measurements on PCB components, plus different resolution configurations that allow the set to localize RF-emitting interferences step-by-step, quickly find the sources of RF emissions on PCB components, and also enables the study of electromagnetic field interference coupling mechanisms.
RF Basic set test usage profile:
The RF Basic set contains six probes with different resolutions and different EMF measurement formats, which can be used in the following order:
- First use RF-R 400-1-1 and RF-R 400-1-1-1 to determine the source of the PCB assembly's emissions from a long distance.
- Use the RF-R 400-1 and RF-E 02 probes to determine the transmitter interference level of PCB assemblies from a long distance.
- Subsequently, the source of magnetic field disturbances can be located more accurately using higher resolution probes such as the RF-R 3-2, RF-B 3-2 and RF-U 5-2 probes, or the source of electric field disturbances can be located using the RF-E 05 probe.

Finally, by slowly moving the near-field probe over the PCB under test, the source of radiation interference emission and the direction of the EMF and its distribution area on the electronic assembly can be determined.
