Product Description:
The P302 L-EFT is a 500V pulse train current generator from Langer EMV, Germany, which can be used as a rectification tool for pulse train testing of integrated circuits at the pin end of the IC.The P302 can couple pulsed voltage disturbances to the wires inside the chip through the electric field, which also simulates the test process of IEC61000-4-2 or IEC6100-4-4. However, the principle of the P302 L-EFT is to couple to the chip pins through the electric field, instead of injecting voltage pulses directly into the chip pins.
When an electrical interference field couples to the traces of a test integrated circuit, the interference voltage of the connected impedance will drop. The voltage drop that occurs across the IC pins results in a functional disturbance. This coupling mechanism can be simulated by a high impedance pulsed voltage source, such as a P302 generator (≈ 150 Ω) The L-EFT generator can be operated with the BPS 202 and BPS 202-Client software. ICE1 set is required for testing ICs; ICE1 set and ICT1 IC tester are required for automated testing.
Other measurements may require other equipment (oscilloscope, PC).
