Product Description:
The AL-130R is an active loop antenna manufactured by Com-power and is typically used for EMI testing in accordance with ANSI C63.4, as well as most CISPR, EN, and ETSI standards. It operates over the 9 kHz to 30 MHz frequency range, and has a built-in low-noise preamplifier that improves the overall measurement sensitivity, as well as the overall signal-to-noise ratio.
Utilization Guide:
The 50cm loop antenna is battery powered (rechargeable 6V Ni-MH battery pack) and can of course be powered from the standard 220V power adapter. The front panel of the antenna base features LED indicators for real-time display of RF on/off, power, low battery, amplifier saturation, and charging status. According to ANSI C63.4-2014, compliance testing with active loop antennas in unshielded environments is only allowed if the saturation indicator is continuously monitored during testing.
