ETS 2117 RSE Radiated Spurious Test Multi-Axis Positioning System - MAPS

Product Description.

The ETS 2117 is a medium-sized multi-axis positioner product manufactured by ETS-LINDGREN of the U.S.A., referred to in the EMC industry as the MAPS-RSE Radiated Spurious Test Multi-Axis Positioning System, and is designed to provide smooth rotation of the test object in the θ and φ axes. The Model 2117 is constructed of low reflective dielectric material to minimize RF interference or distortion and is designed to minimize EMI noise and provide the least physically disruptive RF field. The motor unit is contained in an RF shielded enclosure designed to be placed below the absorber. The signal line from the motor to the optional positioning controller is fiber optic.

The 2117 is now widely utilized in systems that measure antenna orientation maps and the total effective radiated power ERP of wireless devices, and the MAPS unit is currently operating in several CATL laboratories. Options include a SAM Phantom (head) and an ETS-Lindgren position controller with GPIB and EMQuest software.
