ETS 6507 US ETS-lindgren Active Loop Receiver Antenna

Introduction：

The ETS 6507 loop antenna is manufactured by ETS LINDGREN in the U.S.A. and is authorized for sale by EUTTEST. The ETS 6507 is used as an active loop antenna for testing shielding effectiveness as required by the MIL-STD-285 and NSA-65-6 standards. The frequency range is from 1 kHz to 30 MHz.

The antenna composition of the ETS 6507:

An audio amplifier built into the antenna base can be used in most 50 ohm system receivers.

The ETS 6507 antenna has a built-in preamplifier that needs to be powered, and the antenna comes with its own rechargeable battery that can be charged by the standard charger, which can be used for both 115V AC and 230V AC power distribution systems.

Preamplifiers help ETS Corporation's ETS 6507 loop antenna produce good sensitivity and nearly constant antenna coefficients when testing EMC applications. A saturation indicator activates when the input signal exceeds the 5 V/m saturation limit of the internal preamplifier. The battery is powered by a rechargeable sealed cell. The preamplifier's front panel controls and indicators include a power switch, power-on indicator, saturation indicator, and battery charger socket. A switched selectable battery charger is included for 115 VAC or 230 VAC 50/60 Hz operation.

Each loop antenna is individually calibrated to ANSI C63.5 using NIST-traceable equipment. By knowing the actual antenna coefficients and performance characteristics of the antenna, rather than typical data, you can more accurately measure field strengths during testing.
