420NJ Schwarzbeck Tests Biconical Antenna for Ford RI115

Typical applications for 420NJ antenna components are immunity testing of components in the automotive industry, medical, scientific or aerospace environments for handheld transmitters. Typically, the surface of the EUT is divided into grid widths (e.g. 10 cm). Each grid point is tested with the antenna in two orthogonal polarizations with the desired field strength while observing the EUT in operation. Typical antenna-to-EUT spacing is 5 mm or 50 mm, provided by the corresponding spacer of the antenna element.
