The AGEM 5520 is an adjustable solenoid from Schwarzbeck based on the same principle as the AGEM 5520.Helmholtz coilSimilarly, a maximum magnetic field strength of 2.2 Tesla can be generated when 16A current is injected into this high flux coil, and we can also manually adjust the air gap between the two coils to achieve your different flux density needs.

Flux densities for different currents and different interval widths

It should be noted, however, that when operating with a small air gap and high current conditions, the magnet poles are subjected to significant forces. These forces can cause significant elastic deformation of the base, which can result in a reduced air gap. To avoid this, we equip the magnets with three different plastic pitch gap blocks that can be inserted and snap onto the top of the magnet coil.
