UK Eurofins York company produces CGE05 Comb Noise Signal Generator by Shenzhen EUTTEST to provide agent sales service, according to customer demand York put the main generator CGE05 in two different product models to form a new test suite.

Both kits include the Main Generator, a broadband reference comb source that produces frequencies in the 434 MHz to 26 GHz range in two user-selectable step (435 MHz and 0.5 GHz) sizes. It is an ideal reference source for inspection of full or half air chambers and other electronic field test environments.

•  Compact enough to run from the power adapter (supplied) or independently of the PPU01 battery pack to minimize the effects of wiring when characterizing the electromagnetic environment. The generator set is housed in a metal enclosure so that it can be in direct contact with the ground plane as required for some tests. Comb signals allow simultaneous viewing of reference and noise floor signal levels, aiding dynamic range measurements.
• Equipped with a precision SMA output connector, an antenna can be mounted to generate a radiated electric field for darkroom comparison testing.

The current noise source contains two different configurations of test kits as detailed in the configuration list in the table below. Please note that it is not possible to purchase just the main generator, the tester will need to select either KIT01 or KIT02 depending on requirements.
