ETS 3140B ETS-lindgren Hybrid Log Periodic Antenna

Introduction：

The ETS 3140B Hybrid Log Periodic Antenna (BiConiLog), manufactured by ETS-lindgren in the USA, is designed for broadband EMC Radiated Immunity/Resistance (RI/RS) testing applications, with an RF transmission frequency range of 26MHz-3GHz, which is suitable for RS testing of most civilian products. Compared with traditional biconical or other hybrid antennas, ETS lindgren's 3140 B antenna features a patented T-tie element design that significantly improves low frequency performance. In addition, the T-tie element can be easily installed/disassembled by turning the knob by hand, and the antenna will stand on its own feet when the barndog end of the antenna is placed downward on a grounded surface after installation. This antenna is coated with a hard powder coating to protect the antenna.

ETS does not recommend the use of this antenna for RE (radiated emission) measurements, for RE applications EUTTEST prefers you use theETS 3142E With the EMI test receiver to complete the radiated emission measurement needs such as radiated interference or RE102.
