ETS 3162-01 ETS-lindgren Radar Wave Immunity

Introduction：

ETS 3162-01 radar wave transmitting antenna is a product generated by ETS-lindgren, USA and authorized to be distributed by EUTTEST Shenzhen. ETS-Lindgren's ETS 3162-01 high gain horn antenna is used for radar wave immunity testing. The ETS 3162-01 was developed specifically for automotive electronic component test standards such as GMW 3097 and ES-XW7T-1A278-AC. These radar wave tests require the EUT to be exposed to a peak pulse field level of 600 V/m at a distance of 100 cm (3.28 ft) from the front of the horn.

Due to near-field gain compression, most speakers are unable to meet this specification at the required test distance. The ETS 3162-01 Radarwave antenna optimizes the near-field behavior to overcome this problem and produces a field level of 600 V/m with less than 500 W input power.
