Design Principles:
The impedance of this LISN can be switched 5 µH in parallel 50 Ω or (5 µH + 1 Ω) in parallel 50 Ω. The impedance characterization is basically achieved by connecting the inductance in parallel with the input impedance of the measurement receiver. We will teach how to switch the impedance to measure different EMC standard requirements during the in-home training. The schematic of the two impedance switching is shown below:

The main application of the asymmetric single AMN (artificial grid) NNHV 8123 - 800 R is the measurement of interference voltages for electric vehicles using shielded cables in the HF-VHF range 0.1 MHz - 150 MHz according to CISPR 25 version 4 or BMW GS 95025-1. It can also be used for BCI testing using external 50 Ω terminations.
This LISN is designed to be mounted in pairs in the shielded enclosure HVSE 8601 and each NNHV 8123 800 R can be used to measure either positive or negative power lines. For substantive measurements, the device under test must be connected to the terminals on the front panel. The supply voltage must be connected to the rear panel. The shield of the cable is connected to theHVSE 8601on the feedthrough shield connector.
