Product Description:
The P202 L-EFT is a 40V pulse group current generator manufactured by Langer EMV, Germany, and is a pulse group test rectification tool. The P202 can couple pulsed currents to the leads of an integrated circuit chip, which simulates the test process of IEC61000-4-2 or IEC6100-4-4, but the principle of the P202 L-EFT is to couple to the chip pins through a magnetic field rather than injecting current directly into the chip pins. coupling to the chip pins rather than injecting current directly into the chip pins.
An interference voltage is induced when a magnetic field disturbance couples to a low impedance loop connected to a test IC pin. This voltage can drive interfering current pulses into the IC pins, which can lead to abnormal function errors.
This coupling mechanism can be simulated by a low impedance pulsed current source such as the P202 generator (≈ 1 Ω). The pulse voltage is adjustable in the range ± (0.5 - 40) V. The L-EFT generator can be operated with the BPS 202 and BPS 202-Client software. The ICE1 test environment is required for testing ICs at the measurement station. ICE1 and ICT1 integrated circuit testers are required for automated testing.
Other measurements may require other equipment (oscilloscope, PC).
