Product Description:

The AIF 503N is a standalone flicker impedance module manufactured by EMTEST, a subsidiary of AMETEK, specifically designed for EMC voltage flicker testing standards, including the reference impedance Zref (IEC 61000-3-3) and test impedance Ztest (IEC 61000-3-11). By adding the VLCM option, the measurement range can be extended to the mA range (single-phase) for measuring low-power EUTs such as LEDs.

AIF503N16.3 and AIF503N16.5 are standalone three-phase flicker impedances, each capable of handling up to 16 A per line. They include the reference impedance Zref according to IEC 60725. They are compatible with DPA 503N Three-Phase Harmonic and Flicker AnalyzerWhen used with the power supply (ACS 503N or NetWave), it enables flicker testing in accordance with IEC 61000-3-3, IEC 61000-3-11 (up to 16 A), and similar standards. Its compact design makes it an ideal impedance for compact harmonic and flicker test setups.

The device features convenient connectivity with three parallel outputs: a CEE-16 interface, three standard power sockets (country-specific), and a laboratory connector (4 mm). Internal impedance can be bypassed during harmonic emission measurements. The bypass switch for the AIF503N16.3 is controlled by the DPA 503N. The bypass switch for the AIF503N16.5 is manually controlled via a rotary switch on the front panel.
