Dito is a handheld electrostatic discharge gun manufactured by EMTEST, with a contact discharge up to 10kV and an air discharge mode up to 16.5kV. Static electricity from a human body to an object or between two objects can sometimes generate voltages of up to several thousand volts, which can cause malfunctions or even damage to electrical and electronic equipment circuits. dito is a state-of-the-art electrostatic discharge test equipment, capable of accurately simulating static discharge pulses in accordance with the requirements of standards such as EN / IEC 61000-4-2.
To ensure reliable and repeatable testing, the EMTEST dito is able to measure and record the discharge voltage, and the electrostatic discharge gun automatically stops the discharge and indicates when the battery voltage is too low. In addition, the replacement of the discharge head and the discharge network can be accomplished by simply plugging and unplugging. emtest's electrostatic discharge gun automatically recognizes the discharge network used and displays the resistance and capacitance values of the discharge network on the display, thus ensuring that the network selected by the user meets the requirements.
