Product Description:

The HI-1600 is one of the microwave radiation leakage testers manufactured by ETS-LINDGREN, USA and authorized by EUTTEST Shenzhen for sales and quotation services. This microwave test instrument housing contains a rugged meter whose movement is driven by an operational amplifier and powered by two 9-volt alkaline batteries, the negative battery is used in conjunction with a stabilizing voltage regulator to provide support for the instrument to maintain the critical reference voltage required for calibration.

In addition, this hand-held microwave leak test probe circuit has a stabilized internal integration circuit and a response time fast/slow position switch that, when used in the ”fast” position, takes less than one second for the meter pointer to reach the final value of 90% (at a constant microwave field input); The “slow” position provides a longer time constant of less than three seconds, which is permitted under the DHHS Microwave Oven Performance Standard CFR 1030.10 for measurements at 915 MHz and 2450 MHz. This product has been calibrated by ETS-lindgren's professional testers, and EUTTEST will also check the unit upon shipment.

Battery test function

You can also turn the knob to ” PROBE TEST”, using this feature allows the HI1600 to self-calibrate and you can determine if the unit is still usable. When the probe is determined to be inoperable, the probe is damaged and should not be used. Damaged probes cannot be replaced in the field and should be returned to EUTTEST for repair.
