VW TL 82166 2016-02 Antenna Set is an antenna set developed by Schwarzbeck, Germany, according to Volkswagen standard TL 82166:2016-02, which can be used for testing hand-held radio immunity test, the whole set consists of the following components:

  • For the frequency range 26-174 MHz, a matched normal pattern helical antenna is used.
  • For frequencies of 360 MHz and above, use the wideband SBA 9113 Mini with 420 NJ elements and the SBA 9119 Mini with 422 NJ elements.

EUTTEST provides agent sales and quotation and after sales service for this antenna kit, all parts are packed in a carry case with foam padding to prevent damage during transportation.

In the lower frequency bands, the VSWR (standing wave ratio) curve of a good impedance match can be very narrow and extremely sensitive if the antenna is close to an ambient surface. In most cases, it is best to ground the coaxial cable at the antenna feed point. In addition, the VSWR on the coaxial cable is very sensitive to manual operation. The VSWR characteristics of a normal mode helical antenna are also extremely dependent on the sheath current on the cable and the grounding conditions at the antenna feed point.
